The STPE Master's program offers a two-year course of study in the Earth sciences, focusing on geodynamics, geomaterials, geological resources, and geological hazards.

The master’s program prepares students for a wide range of careers in industry, private and public organizations, and academic research, thanks to:

  • the development of fundamental and applied knowledge and skills in Earth dynamics, geological processes, and interactions with the environment;
  • for executive/engineering-level (bac +5) and research positions.

This master’s program is designed for independent and motivated students with an interest in field and laboratory research, as well as in the analytical and digital tools used in modern Earth and environmental sciences. The program draws heavily on the expertise of the research teams at the University of Montpellier’s Geosciences Laboratory, as well as on a broad network of professional experts from partner industries and organizations.
