Training presentation

The key points of the course are :

  • understanding the physical and chemical processes controlling the Earth's dynamics
  • projects and internships for personalized skills acquisition
  • mastery of tools such as digital cartography and 3D data visualization
  • learning methods for quantitative characterization of geomaterials (e.g. advanced microscopy, geochemistry, experimental rock deformation)
  • training based on the internationally-recognized scientific and technical excellence of the Géosciences Montpellier laboratory, and on input from geomaterials professionals (geotechnical engineering firms).

  • Field expertise (120 hours) in all geological environments
  • Expertise in digital mapping and geomaterials characterization
  • A high level of mentoring to personalize skills and technical knowledge for successful professional integration
  • Semester 4 is dedicated to a 6-month internship in a company or an academic or private research laboratory.
