Course Objective
The establishment of the Master’s in Education (CME) track within the Earth Sciences bachelor’s program is designed to meet the primary objective of providing high-level, multidisciplinary training in Earth and life sciences. Particular emphasis is placed on practical laboratory work, hands-on activities, experimentation, and a field-based approach to concepts in Earth sciences and ecology. The curriculum also focuses on developing the scientific method, alongside a pedagogical approach to scientific issues. A portion of the coursework (supervised projects) places a strong emphasis on student autonomy, enabling students to develop their skills in using communication tools (summary reports, posters, slide presentations, etc.).
