Course objective

The identification of the Cursus Master Enseignement (CME) pathway within the Earth Sciences bachelor's degree program meets the main objective of providing high-level, multi-disciplinary training in Earth and life sciences. Particular emphasis is placed on practical work, the use of manipulatives and experimentation, and a hands-on approach to the concepts of Earth sciences and ecology. Teaching is also centered on the acquisition of the scientific approach, in parallel with a pedagogical approach to scientific questions. Part of the curriculum (supervisory projects) leaves plenty of room for student autonomy, enabling them to make progress in their use of communication tools (summary reports, posters, slide shows, etc.).
